Ida Zetterström didn’t make her Top Fuel season debut until August, but her eight-race body of work to close out the season and her strong international support earned her the support of voters to be named Best New Talent.
Ida Zetterström didn’t make her Top Fuel season debut until the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals in Brainerd in August, but her eight-race body of work to close out the season and her strong international support earned her the support of voters to be named Best New Talent.
Zetterström, the 2023 FIA European Top Fuel champ, raced her way to a semifinal finish in her debut in the JCM entry in Brainerd and qualified for every race she attended.
Zetterström finished just ahead of fellow NHRA Rookie of the Year contenders Tony Stewart, Daniel Wilkerson, Jasmine Salinas, and Richard Gadson in the voting.
