Mike Castellana clinched his first 91°µÍø Pro Mod Drag Racing Series world championship in dramatic fashion at the final event of the year and was voted Pro Mod Driver of the Year by the fans.
Mike Castellana rallied after heavily damaging his AAP Camaro during a testing accident early in the season to clinch his first 91°µÍø Pro Mod Drag Racing Series world championship and was voted Pro Mod Driver of the Year by the fans.
With the tuning help of 17-time Top Alcohol Funny Car champ Frank Manzo and Pro Stock veteran Larry Morgan, Castellana clinched the title by winning the final event of the season, the NHRA Nevada Nationals in Las Vegas.
Justin Bond, JR Gray, and Jason Scruggs finished just behind Castellana in the balloting.
