In celebration of NHRA’s upcoming 75th anniversary in 2026, officials at In-N-Out Burger and NHRA announced the scheduling of a special Division 7 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event on March 12-15, 2026, at historic In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip.

After a scintillating start to the event on Friday where cool temperatures and a tacky track yielded great performance across all classes, fans at the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals are likely in for more of the same under similar conditions Saturday.

When you drive Funny Cars for a living, as Ron Capps has for nearly 30 years, the bumps and bruises and fire and blower explosions come with the territory, but because all he's ever wanted to be is a Funny Car driver, he readily accepts it.
