Annual DRAW Golf Tournament kicks off the 2025 season in Gainesville
The Drag Racing Association of Women (DRAW) will present its Annual Tracy Winters Memorial Golf Tournament on March 5, 2025. This is the Wednesday before the season-opening Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville.
Many Sportsman racers will already be in town, having raced the "Baby Gators" NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event the previous weekend, which makes the DRAW golf tournament a great way to fill your mid-week. Anyone is welcome to play, not just racers.
In addition to having a fun afternoon in the Florida sun, a great prize collection has been thrown into the mix. All foursomes will be entered into a drawing at the end of the event for $2,000, meaning you could win $500, in addition to the fun, bragging rights, and a nice meal. All single entries will be paired into a foursome.
Tee time is 12:30 p.m. at Ironwood Golf Course in Gainesville. Entry is $85 per golfer and includes green fees, a golf cart, range balls, and food during the award presentation. A maximum of three mulligans can be purchased at $5 each. The golf course is close to the racetrack and the airport, located at 2100 NE 39th Avenue in Gainesville.
