NHRA announces Saturday sellout at Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals
NHRA officials at Gainesville Raceway announced a sellout for Saturday’s racing at the 54th Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals.
The race kicks off the 2023 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season and the huge fanbase packed the legendary facility in Gainesville. The massive crowd enjoyed an impressive day of qualifying and the Pep Boys NHRA Top Fuel All-Star Callout to open the new season.
“What a great way to kick off the 2023 season with a sold-out crowd at Gainesville Raceway,” 91 President Glen Cromwell said. “It’s a tribute to our tremendous NHRA fans to start off the year in this fashion. Our race team and partners circle this event each season and you could feel the energy and excitement at the track today.”
Eliminations for the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals begin at 10 a.m. ET on Sunday at Gainesville Raceway.
