The Texas 91°µÍø FallNationals was a stampede of speed and excitement, and that extended to the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series classes, where several standout performances wowed the crowd, not the least of which was Julie Nataas’ double up in the JEGS Allstars event and the FallNationals,

Nataas put a capper on an amazing weekend that included her third straight JEGS Allstars Top Alcohol Dragster win and the clinching of the world championship by winning Sunday’s big show in a big way with a devastating 5.12 to defeat Norwalk winner Kirk Wolf, who had to abort his final-round pass. A day after clinching his second straight and third overall Top Alcohol Funny Car championship, Doug Gordon won his sixth Wally of the season and the 26th of a driving career that will conclude this season by defeating two-time Top Alcohol Dragster world champ Jim Whiteley in the final round. Whiteley also came into the final with 25 career wins in a combined Top Alcohol Dragster and Pro Mod career but looking for his first win in the class. [video]

Jim Greenheck scored his second win of the season in Comp and the fourth of his career with his C-Tech Manufacturing C/AA '12 Camaro, pounding out a (-.48) 7.16 to defeat three-time Shaun Vincent, who slowed in his C/TA S-10 in the final. [video]

Tyler Wudarczyk helped secure his Top 10 spot in the Super Stock standings by beating past world champion Vic Penrod, who fouled by .009-second in the final. [video]

Two of the best Stock drivers in the history of the South Central Division squared off in the Dallas final with Jerry Emmons stopping reigning world champ Jimmy Hidalgo Jr. Emmons, now an eight-time winner in Dallas, finished with a 10.514 on his 10.48 dial. [video]

Michael Holcombe completed a homestate Texas two-step in Super Comp, following up his 2022 Houston win with a victory in Dallas, defeating David Long, 8.91 to 8.92. Holcombe also was the runner-up earlier this season in Bristol. [video]

Trevor Larson collected his ninth career victory and his sixth in Super Gas after he drove his SeaFoam Engine Treatment Corvette to a 9.92 to 9.94 final-round victory over four-time tour winner Steve Collier. Larson also has scored wins in Super Comp and Super Street. [video]

Just two months after winning in Super Gas at his homestate Brainerd event, Donnie Durenberger won his second national event, wheeling his Sea Foam/Bishop’s Performance Nova to the Super Street title in Dallas, using a .007 reaction time and a 10.920 to defeat Mark McCall’s better-but-later 10.903. Curt Fredrich made an extremely competitive run in the final of Right Trailers Top Sportsman with a .021 light and a 6.523 on his 6.51 dial to deny part-time Pro Stock racer and recent Charlotte champ his second win of the season.[video]

In the Right Trailers Top Dragster final, Holden Laris bagged his fourth career win after a red-light start by Dane Ward, last year’s eighth-ranked driver. Laris was ready for almost anything with a .004 package.[video]
