Bob Tasca III shared his latest Funny Car win with Ford's top car enthusiasts
From the Ford Flathead V-8-powered-cars that ran on the dry lake beds in the 1940s, to the modern-day 11,000-hp nitromethane-burning Ford Mustang Funny Car, nearly all of Ford's highest horsepower and top speed records have come from racing organized under the watchful eye of Wally Parks.
And Ford could have perhaps no better ambassador of speed than Bob Tasca III, who, after winning a Funny Car Wally at the 2023Â Menards NHRA Nationals Presented By PetArmor, traveled to Las Vegas to share that success with the top Ford dealers in the country and some of the organization's biggest car enthusiasts.Â
Tasca reported, "I was thrilled to be able to share the Wally with some of the top Ford dealers in the country, along with some special guests and the entire Ford leadership team. It was also great to meet Tim Allen. I’m a huge fan of his work. He’s a big-time car guy, and I invited him out to Pomona in the fall to see what nitro racing is all about."
