Reigning NHRA Mello Yello Funny Car champ Del Worsham has been around Funny Cars since he was a youngster, hanging out and helping his father, Chuck, on the family FunnyÌýCars and watching theÌýracers and racing from the sidelinesÌýbefore graduating to the cockpit himself at the final event of the 1990 season.

As a child of the 1970s, Worsham grew up in an exciting and influential period in the class, so it's no surprise that his earliest heroes and some of his favorite cars come from that decade.

As part of NHRA's 50 years of Funny Car celebration, fans can pick their favorites in through May 3.
